The Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 103/2018 of July 26 establishes that the National Council for Food and Nutritional Security (CONSANP) must contribute to an integrated vision of matters related to food and nutrition security, contributing to the implementation of the Human Right to Adequate Food. ENSANP's vision aims at guaranteeing an integrated action for a sustainable and healthy food system. The Strategy establishes four strategic axes, the first being linked to the integration of policies and governance, with axes 2 and 3 focusing on intervention priorities focused, respectively, on improving access to safe, sustainable and nutritionally adequate food, in particular for the most vulnerable groups, and on the smooth functioning of the food chain. Axis 4, transversal to the three previous axes, focuses on communicating the implementation and results of ENSANP. The strategic axes are: Axis 1 — Integration of policies and governance; Axis 2 — Vulnerable groups, health and nutrition; Axis 3 — Good functioning of the food chain; Axis 4 — Communication.
