This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Resolution provides for the offer, advertising, information and other related practices aimed at the dissemination and commercial promotion of food considered to have high amounts of sugar, saturated fat, trans fat, sodium, and drinks with low nutritional content. The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure information for the preservation of the health of all those exposed to the offer, advertising, information and other related practices whose objective is the commercial promotion of food with a view to curbing excessive practices that lead the public, especially children, to consumption patterns that are incompatible with health and that violate their right to adequate food. This Regulation does not apply to food additives and technology adjuvants; fruits, vegetables and vegetables; fruit juices; nuts and seeds; fresh, chilled and frozen meat and fish; to milk; to yogurts; to cheese; oils, vegetable oils and fish oils.
