Abstract This Resolution provides for the establishment of a National Center for Research and Development in Sustainable Agriculture. The Center, in order to support sustainable agriculture, its development and expanding its applications, aims at (i) knowledge management; (ii) developing sustainable agricultural systems technologies; (iii) supervising research projects and programs; (iv) conducting research, studies and experiments in the fields of protected agriculture, biological control, and fertilizers; (v) rationalize the use of water and facilitate the innovation process. The Center shall have a Board of Directors, headed by the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture that shall supervise the affairs of the Center and conduct its affairs, and it may take the necessary decisions to achieve its tasks. The Board may, in order to achieve its competences, form permanent or temporary committees from its members or others representatives.
