Abstract

The President decrees to authorize the following types of hunting: (a) commercial hunting; (b) artisanal and sport hunting; (c) hunting for scientific research and educational purposes; (d) hunting for the regulation of the number of game; (e) hunting for acclimatization, repopulation and hybridization of game; and (f) hunting for the purpose of captive or semi-captive breeding or keeping wild fauna species in artificial environment. Hunting authorization for ungulates (elk, wild boar, and Siberian Roe Deer) shall be issued for a period of validity not exceeding 30 (thirty) calendar days in compliance with the period of hunting set forth by the federal Hunting Regulations. Spring hunting for birds shall be performed from the fourth Saturday of April for 10 (ten) calendar days. Commercial, artisanal and sport hunting shall be prohibited in areas of testing and training of hunting dogs. Collective hunting for wild ungulates, bear and wolf shall be performed by hunters wearing red, orange, yellow shades and (or) clothing that has elements (headwear, armbands, etc.) of the same shades. The period of artisanal and sport hunting for wild boar in generally accessible hunting grounds shall be limited to the period from 1 August to 28 (29) February.
