Abstract This Resolution is composed of 6 articles. Importation of agricultural, chemical, organic, solid and liquid fertilizers is subject to two conditions: the imported fertilizers shall be accompanied by analysis and production certificate from the country of origin; the imported compound fertilizers shall be subject to text and analysis in an authorized local laboratory, to verify the authenticity of the information mentioned in the certificate of the country of origin (art. 1). Officers employed in control of import; export and quarantine have the competence to take the samples and to send them to laboratories (art. 2). Nitrogenous fertilizers, which contain more than 34% of Nitrogen shall be subject to previous authorization in addition to the conditions mentioned in this Resolution (art. 4). Resolution No. 45/1 dated on 11/3/1995 and all texts incompatible with this resolution are now abrogated (art. 5).
