Abstract The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the importation of potatoes seeds. It is composed of 10 articles. Article 1 allows the importation of potatoes seeds upon a sanitary certificate issued from the country of origin indicating kinds, classes and volumes. The importation of potatoes seeds shall be approved by the Technical Committee of Agricultural seeds (art. 3). Articles 5 and 6 specify classes, qualities and volumes of the tubers. Article 7 defines requirements and conditions for the transportation of potatoes seeds. Article 8 prohibits the importation of potatoes seeds afflicted by insects and diseases listed in this article.
