Abstract This Resolution approves the Plan of Action of the Fisheries Policy Chart. Through Resolution No. 17/2014 of 28 February, the government approved the Fisheries Policy Chart (CPP), as a guideline document towards the strategic options of the Government for the fisheries sector on the horizon 2013-2018. This Plan of Action aims at targeting an integrated and sustained development of the sector that leverages all the valences linked to this strategic area for the development of Cape Verde. The Fisheries Policy Chart is aligned with the Strategic Agenda for the sector, Cape Verde's Transformation Agenda, the Strategic Document for Growth and Poverty Reduction, PRSP III and contains a number of strategic options in the fields of capture, infrastructure, fish conservation/value addition, marketing, research, inspection conformity assessment, credit associations and cooperation.
