The Resolution defines the registration procedures for the foreign companies willing to export their products to Lebanon. These companies shall register in the Directorate of Livestock. A recent HACCP or an ISO22000 are necessary to this aim. Specifications regarding the country of origin, the epidemiological situation, the validity period, packaging, labelling, transport and the accompanying documents are listed in the text. The import of chilled poultry meat is forbidden. Further requirements are needed for the import of meat slaughtered by the Islamic method (halal).
