Abstract

This Resolution establishes the procedure for the operation of the biomethane register. The biomethane register is an electronic accounting system designed to register the amount of biomethane submitted to the gas transportation/gas distribution system and withdrawn from such a system, as well as for the formation of guarantees of biomethane origin, their transfer, distribution or cancellation, and the provision of biomethane origin certificates. Registry administrator: (a) ensures compliance of the information entered into the register with the data of the documents on the basis of which they are entered; (b) creates registry user accounts; (c) forms, issues, transfers, distributes and cancels guarantees of origin of biomethane; (d) forms and issues biomethane origin certificates; (e) keeps a history of changes to entries in the register; (f) conducts training on filling in and using the register; (g) ensures maintenance of the register in Ukrainian and English languages; (h) provides technical and technological support and maintenance of registry software; (i) supervises the provision of protection of information in the register in accordance with legislation; (j) ensures control over compliance with the right of access of users to the registry; (k) ensures the preservation and protection of data contained in the register; and (l) performs other operations related to keeping register.
