Abstract The provisions of this Resolution are applicable to the milk processing centers, to the manufacturing, packaging, storage and transport of milk and its derivates. The text lays down health rules for the production of raw milk and milk for the manufacture of milk-based products intended for human consumption. It also sets detailed provisions with respect to the design, the construction, the equipment, the sterilization, and to the health and hygiene of the workers. The application of self-censorship system, food safety and food control are mentioned in the text. The Resolution concerns also the product identification, health licence and official control.
