It consists of 12 chapters: General provisions (I); Management of the institution involved in the work with biological agents (II); Risk-analysis principles and risk-groups of pathogens (III); Requirements of biosafety practice and principles (IV); Biosafety levels of laboratories (V); Biosafety level-1 laboratories (VI); Biosafety level-2 laboratories (VII); Biosafety level-3 laboratories (VIII); Laboratories working on animals (IX); Research, inspection, audit and training (X); Launch of laboratory, suspension of activities and control of records (XI); and Bio protection matters (XII). The resolution applies for any person or entity that is involved in diagnosis; experimental and medical activities; industrial and medical activities; registration, storage, inspection, transportation, acceptance, packaging, marking and moving materials; zoological and entomological activities; collection of field materials and transportation from the origins; activities related to arthropods and vertebrates; activities related to hotspots of infectious diseases, and humans and animal infected with extremely hazardous pathogens; activities in hospitals, insulator and observatory units; and path-anatomy work on human corpse and animal carrion.
