This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 decrees that the General Egyptian Authority for Standards and Quality is the unique authority entrusted to issue safety marks for commodities, goods and products in order to protect consumers. Article 2 gives industries 6 months to regulate their situations.
