Abstract This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 deals with carrying out tests for the distinction, homogeneity and stability of plant species which should be protected according to technical rules and requirements. Article 2 provides for the adoption of tests and analyses which shall be carried out at the moment of the registration of plant species already registered and introduced in Egypt on the condition that the Country of origin is a member of the UPOV. Article 3 entrusts the Plant Species Protection Office to carry out tests and analyses outside of Egypt in countries members of UPOV, in case of the impossibility to carry them out in Egypt.
