Abstract The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the creation of artificial barriers in fishing areas in order to protect the marine environment. The present Resolution is composed of 11 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 subjects the creation of the aforementioned artificial barriers to the licensing requirements and conditions issued by the General Authority for Environment and Marine Wealth Protection. Article 3 lays down the requirements and conditions for the materials used for the construction of the artificial barriers.
