This Resolution enters into force 3 months after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution allows the import of milk replacer to feed animals, after the submission of a notification to the Animal Husbandry Department of the Directorate of Livestock before each shipment. The documents needed are listed in the text. Only farmers, firms and companies that raise and feed animals or the feed industry are allowed to import the milk replacer. The Resolution defines the documents needed to register a factory fodder at the Animal Husbandry Department of the Directorate of Livestock. Also the list of documents necessary for the arrival of the goods to the Lebanese ports is defined in the text. The Resolution sets forth the conforming technical and health conditions of the imported milk replacer. The shipment are subject to laboratory tests. The Resolution contains terms for the packaging. The importer shall keep an official record for each shipment operation for 24 months from the date of its arrival to Lebanon. The text concludes with a Sample of a pledge to the Ministry of Agriculture.
