Abstract: This Resolution approves the Management Plan of the National Park “Serra de São Mamede” (POPNSSM). The Plan, composed of 48 articles and one Annex, defines the Park’s legal status, objectives, protection levels, as well as the possible uses and activities allowed within the protected area. The aim is to introduce protection instruments for natural resources in order to valorise ecological diversity in natural and semi-natural landscapes. The Annex provides a list of forbidden activities within the Park and of those only allowed in certain areas, according to their protection level.
