Abstract This Resolution declares the disaster emergency based on the epidemiological situation still existing on the island of Santiago and the risk of contamination in the country, resulting from the spread of COVID-19 and the need to maintain measures aimed at strengthening the level of prevention currently in force, to react and restore normal living conditions. The facilities are closed and cultural, recreational, sports, leisure and entertainment activities are prohibited, namely: a) Public events, in open or closed spaces, regardless of their nature; b) Drinking establishments, namely bars, after 9 pm; c) Nightlife establishments or spaces, namely discotheques and dance halls or places where parties are held; d) Sports and leisure activities involving crowds of people; e) Schools of martial arts and gymnastics; f) Regular passenger maritime connections to and from Santiago Island; g) Bathing on the island of Santiago.
