Abstract

This Resolution adopts the technical regulations on radiation monitoring of scrap metals. It consists of six articles: Scope of regulation (1); Goal and objectives of this technical regulation (2); Definition of terms (3); Export-instrumental check of scrap metal (4); Obligations of state agencies (5); and Procedure for discovering and responding to a radioactive pollution or radioactive source in scrap metal (6). The Resolution also adopts the Methodology for Radiation Assessment of Scrap Metal (Annex No. 1).
