Abstract This Resolution aims to propose to the Government measures to Strengthen Women's Civic and Political Participation. In particular, it aims to recommend to Political Parties, Social, Cultural, Sports, and Trade Union Organizations, and Women's Organizations, the adoption of various measures aimed at increasing the participation of women in the various levels of exercise of political power, such as: measures aimed at reconciling professional and family life and civic and political participation, allowing women and men to participate on equal terms in the exercise of power at different levels; promote innovative campaigns, namely through the media, and educational programmes aimed at raising public awareness of the need for equal participation by women and men, etc. empowering women in asserting their rights to equal civic participation in economic, social, political and cultural life.
