Article 1 provides for the creation of the High Ministerial Committee in order to follow the implementation of the National Plan for Water Resources and Uses formed by the Ministers of Water Resources and Irrigation, Finance, Housing and Architectural Services and Societies, Planning, Public Health and Inhabitants, Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Environmental Affairs and Tourism. The main duty of the aforementioned Committee is to follow, activate and implement the National Plan for Water Resources and Uses as well as to define the priorities and roles of the concerned Ministries and Departments, to cooperate between them and fix the timetable for the implementation of the above-mentioned Plan (art. 2). The Committee will meet periodically and/or in case of need (art. 3).
