Abstract This Resolution, consisting of 4 articles, creates the Intersectoral Technical Committee of the Project for Water Mobilization for Agriculture under the governmental authority for the Agriculture and Environment sector. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Committee entitled to perform the following activities: a) Analyse the adequacy of the project with the synergies of the sector and its follow-up with the other sectoral directives; b) Assess the harmonization of the actions of the project with the public policies of the sector; c) Ensure synergies with the main ongoing projects in the field of water and agriculture; d) Improve and validate the technical assistance reports submitted by consultants and contractors and propose intervention for improvement in the quality of the final Technical Assistance product; e) Analyse and issue technical opinions on the documents and options to be submitted to the member of the Government responsible for the Water sector for decision-making, including the procurement of goods and services, safeguarding the principle of economic sustainability; and f) Monitor the technical implementation of the project and recommend measures to improve its performance, effectiveness and efficiency.
