Abstract This Resolution, consisting of 9 articles, creates the National Steering Committee of the Programme of Rural Socioeconomic Opportunities (CNP-POSER). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Committee as an advisory, multisectoral, monitoring and support mechanism for the Rural Socioeconomic Opportunities Programme (POSER). It is part of public policies to reduce poverty through active rural employment and social inclusion policies, based on development activities within the agriculture, livestock, fisheries and other sectors as main supports for the implementation of the Programme. The purpose of the Committee is to ensure the articulation of sectoral policies, to elaborate proposals and programmes of activities that contribute to the development of these policies, to strengthen cooperation between public and private entities and organizations, civil society and international entities involved in POSER activities.
