Abstract

The Resolution regulates the registry of ionizing sources of radiation and radioactive waste. It consists of 11 articles: Scope of regulation and purpose (1); Definition of terms (2); Basis of categorization of ionizing sources of radiation (3); Categorization of ionizing sources of radiation (4); Registration of ionizing sources of radiation and the activities related thereto (5); Registration of radioactive waste (6); Agency registry of authorizations (7); Maintaining the agency registry (8); Obligations of the parties when maintaining the registry of ionizing sources of radiation, radioactive waste and related authorizations (9); Access to information and security (10); and Accuracy of the information (11). The purpose of the regulation is to legally regulate the relations regarding the registry, as well as to categorize ionizing sources of radiation.
