This Agreement enters into force on 15 January 2011.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the Ratification of the Agreement on Port State Measures to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (IUU), signed in Rome (Italy) on 22 November 2009. The Agreement aims to reach the above mentioned objective through the implementation of effective Port State Measures, in order to ensure the long-term conservation and sustainable use of biological resources and marine ecosystems.
