Abstract This Resolution approves the forestry action plan and some related actions aimed at correcting the faults of the norms and support measures currently in force. The aim is to simplify the procedures, remove the obstacles, protect the potential production and stimulate income-generating investments. It is composed of 15 articles and one Annex containing the forestry action plan. This action plan is divided in the following 11 sections: institutional context, legislation, instruments for the forestry system and management, public and community woods, investment simplification within the III Community support frameworks (CSFs III), agricultural land forestation, forestry investment, forest fires, associativism, professional training, research development.
