Abstract: This Resolution aims at the definition of active substances of agricultural pesticides in order to authorize or prohibit their registration. The present Resolution is composed of 7 articles and 3 Annexes. Article 1 deals with active substances of pesticides, which can be registered, imported, handled, prepared and processed in Egypt in accordance with Resolution No, 90 of 2007. Article 2 defines active substances of pesticides, which shall be subjected to revision by the Agricultural Pesticides Committee according to the decision of the European Union. Article 3 provides for prohibited active substances of pesticides. Article 4 entrusts the Agricultural Pesticides Committee with the periodic revision of active substances of pesticides in order to modify their position in the lists. Annex I contains the list of active substances of pesticides, which are authorized to be registered. Annex II contains the active substances of pesticides, which shall be subjected to revision by the Agricultural Pesticides Committee according to the decision of the European Union. Annex III contains the list of active substances of pesticides, which are prohibited.
