It consists of eight articles: Scope of application and general provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Special requirements imposed on fortificants of foodstuff (3); Requirements imposed on fortified foodstuff (4); Hygiene requirements imposed on flour and bread products (5) Hygiene requirements for iodization of table salt (6) Concentration of fortificants in foodstuff (7); and Prohibitions in fortification (8). The Resolution applies to business operators which produce, sell and/or import foodstuffs. The latter have the obligation to provide only safe food. The Resolution does not apply to food production for individual consumption in families.
