Abstract This Resolution approves the Development Policy on New and Renewable Energies. The Policy, consisting of 7 Sections, aims at: promoting the supply of new and renewable energy services, in particular in rural areas; promoting the use of new and renewable energy sources, strengthening the local and national energetic security; reducing the negative local and global environmental impacts; promoting the technological development of new and renewable energy sector; creating a competitive market for new and renewable energies; contributing to the income generating activity, including to fight to poverty; contributing to reach the Millennium Development Goals. It regulates all activity related to the following new and renewable energies: human and animal; Biomass; Hydraulic; Sun radiation; Wind; Underground thermal waters; oceanic waters.
