Abstract This Resolution approves the Statute of the Agency for the Development of Zambesi River Basin under the Ministry of Environment. The Statute, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, created by Decree No. 22/2010, and entitled to regulate, supervise and implement development plans within the National side of the hydrographical basin of Zambesi River. This institution aims at carrying out research and proposing strategies for the socio-economic development of the National side of the Zambesi River. The Statute is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Competencies (Chap. II); Financial aspects (Chap. III); Final provisions (Chap. IV).
