This Resolution enters into force on 1 June 2022.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the technical regulation regarding almonds. It consists of eight articles: Purpose and scope of regulation (1); Object of regulation (2); Terms (3); General requirements on the regulated object (4); Requirements on almonds in shell (5); Requirements on almond kernels (6); Requirements on blanched almond kernels (7); Requirements on business operators (8); and Conformity control of the regulated object (9). The technical regulation also approves Table 1 – Permitted deviation from the quality of almonds in shell; Table 2 – Permitted deviation from the quality of almond kernels; Table 3 - Permitted deviation from the quality of blanched almond kernels; and Annex 1 – Conformity declaration.
