Article 1 defines conditions and requirements for the importation of animals and animal products into Syria. The applicant will present an application to the Ministry of Agriculture, indicated in it specie of animal and animal products, objective of the importation, quantity, country of origin, place of entry into Syria and method of transportation (art. 2). Animals and animal products shall be provided with international veterinary certificates (art. 4). Article 5 deals with conditions and requirements necessary for the importation of bovines for breeding, bovines for slaughtering, goats for breeding, goats for slaughtering, camels, horses, birds, eggs for hatching, birds for ornament, rabbits and like, meat, frozen meat, raw leathers, wool, coats, furs, horns and intestines.
