Abstract This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 decrees the ban on the transportation or move of palm trees, palm seedlings, palm roots and palm shoots from zones afflicted by palm red weevil or by other pests and diseases defined by the Plant Wealth Department to other zones in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Article 2 entrusts the Plant Wealth Department at the Ministry of Agriculture to define and issue lists of zones afflicted by palm red weevil and other principle pests and diseases. Article 3 allows the transportation or move of palm trees, palm seedlings, palm roots and palm shoots among zones free from palm red weevil or by other pests and diseases after previous authorizations by the Plant Wealth department.
