Abstract

This Resolution approves the animal health protection rules for production, processing, distribution, and importation of food of animal origin for human consumption. It consists of three chapters: General provisions (I); animal health protection rules applicable to all steps of production, processing and distribution (II); and Import (III). The Resolution approves Annex No. 1 – Diseases related to trade of food of animal original and control measures provided for under the Georgian legislation, Annex No. 2 – Special marking of meat safety, and Annex No. 3 – Elimination through processing of certain risks related to animal health issues concerning meat and milk.
