This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2025.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the specific rules on official controls for trichinella in meat. It consists of three chapters: General provisions (I); Obligations of the Agency and food business operators (II); Import (III). The Resolution also approves Annex 1 – Methods of identification; Annex 2 - Freeze treatment; Annex 3 – Assessment of other animals than pigs; and Annex 4 – Stations and reports.
