This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication on the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution lays down the rules for sampling of the imported and exported animal food products. The Resolution is composed of 6 articles and 2 Annexes. Article 2 deals with terms and definitions. Article 3 defines the rules and requirements for acceptance or refuse of samples. Article 4 entrusts the Official Veterinary Inspector with the sampling operation. Article 5 decrees that the attached Annexes are to be considered an integral part of this Resolution. Article 6 contains general provisions. Annex I deals with the meat and meat products sampling. Annex II provides for the microbiological requirements.
