Abstract

This Resolution regulates the management of forestry in Adjara. It consists of five chapters: General provisions (I); Rules for issuance of tickets for timber production (II); Rules for issuance of a document for extracting an object of wildlife (except for migratory birds) (III); Rules for issuance of tickets for forest use (IV); and Granting ownership of timber and right to use of forest through electronic auction (V). The Resolution also adopts the fees for the services provided by the Forestry Agency of Adjara (Annex No. 1); and the initial bidding price for timber (Annex No. 2). Among others, the Resolution provides for social cutting for the production of fuelwood.
