This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2021.
Abstract

This Resolution approves the technical regulation on traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms, and traceability of food/feed produced from genetically modified organisms. The technical regulation consists of six articles: General provisions (1); Purpose and scope of application (2); Definition of terms (3); Requirements imposed on traceability and labelling of products composed of genetically modified organisms(s) and of products containing genetically modified organisms(s) (4); Traceability of food/feed produced from genetically modified organisms (5); and State control (6). The requirements of this technical regulation do not apply to human or animal drugs.
