Abstract

This Resolution approves the composition and the charter of the National Council for Development of Mountainous Regions of Georgia. The charter consists of 15 articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Authority of the Council (3); Motion by the Council (4); Rules for the operation of the Council (5); Organizational support of the Council’s work (6); Approving the list of communities of mountainous regions, including and excluding communities from the list (7); Decision of the Georgian Government on including and excluding communities from the list (8); Including a community in a historical-geographic region (9); Developing the strategy and action for the development of high mountainous areas (10); Developing the program for the development of high mountainous areas (11); Permanent working group (12); Establishing criteria (13); Rules for disposing of the fund (14); and Transitional provisions (15).
