Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 2 articles and 3 Annexes. Article 1 deals with various requirements and conditions for authorized installations and industries producing, using, trading, operating and treating with radioactive materials, and in particular with: (a) the concentration of radioactivity in the air, which shall not exceed the maximum residues limit as illustrated in Annex 1; (b) the concentration of radioactivity in the workplace which shall not exceed the maximum residues limit as indicated in Annex 2; and (c) the total concentration of radioactivity in the workplace in 5 consecutive years, which shall not exceed the maximum residues limit as indicated in Annex 3. The regularization of the position of the already established industries and installations shall be carried out within 6 months from the date of entry into force of this Resolution (art. 2).
