This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2025.
Abstract

This Resolution provides for the restriction of use of certain epoxy derivatives in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. It consists of eight articles: General provisions (1); Purpose and scope of application (2); Terms (3); Special requirements imposed on “BADGE” (4); Special requirements imposed on “BFDGE” (5); Special requirements imposed on “NOGE” (6); Written declaration (7); and Additional requirements (8). The purpose of the Technical Regulation is to protect the public health and a free movement of materials and substances that come in contact with food.
