Abstract This Resolution approves the Statute of the National Agency for Environmental Quality Control (AQUA), created by Decree No. 80/2010. This Statute, consisting of 7 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of this institution, which is under the Ministry of Environment and entitled to: develop and implement National strategies on the integrated control over air, soil and water pollution, carry out control activities to monitor quality standards, through specific investigation and to develop, with the collaboration of specialized institutions, continue investigation of environmental patterns.
