Abstract This Resolution is composed of 6 Sections divided into 44 articles. General provisions; estblishment of the General Authority for Fish Services and Marketing under the control of the Ministry of Fish Wealth (sect. I). Objectives and functions of the Authority are dealt with in Section II which are to: contribute in the realization of economic and social development programme; develop fishing ports; contribute in the realization of food security; manage the fishing ports; create and regulate the activity of centres along the coastal strip of Yemen; regulate the auction sale for fish and marine products; create and develop ice factories; guarantee the abundance of fresh fish; provide fishing gear; and to construct fishing vessels. Capital, financial sources,incomes and services of the Authority (sect. III). Management and internal organization of the Authority is dealt with in Section IV.
