Abstract The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the production, distribution and circulation of the special bread prepared from cereals. It is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 defines requirements for the production, distribution and circulation of special bread produced from cereals(wheat, maize, barley, oats and the like) which are: raw materials shall be compatible with the respective Syrian Standardization and Metrology; labels shall be written in Arabic and include the necessary information; wheat used for supply bread should not be utilized as sanitary bread nor for diet either for therapy; cereals shall be packaged in suitable materials for foodstuffs; and, the use of soybeans shall be upon a previous treatment to be suitable for human consumption. Article 2 deals with violations and analysis. The production of therapy bread shall be upon a previous authorization from the Ministry of Public Health. Article 4 contains offences and penalties.
