Abstract This Resolution, composed of 16 articles, has been issued by the National Water Resources Council in order to implement the Water Policy Act No. 9.433. In particular, this Resolution regulates the institution of River Basin Committes, integrating the National System for Water Resources’ Management. These Committes are collective bodies with normative, deliberating and advisory functions for their related water basin. The Resolution defines their composition, functions and management procedures.
