Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 7 articles. Article 1 provides for the establishment of the Plant Species Protection Office. Competences of this Office are to receive, register and examine the requests concerning the protection of plant species (art. 2). The Office will issue the Breeders'-Right Certificate for new plant species that comply with the 4Th Book of Law No. 82 of 2002 (art. 3). Article 4 provides for the establishment of the Permanent Advisory Council by the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation (art. 4). The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation will issue a resolution defining the activities of this Office (art. 5).
