Abstract

This Resolution lays down rules for drafting a municipality safety passport. It consists of four articles: General provisions (1); Purpose of drafting a municipality safety passport (2); Filling out a municipality safety passport (3); and Form for a municipality safety passport (4). The purpose of a municipality safety passport is to determine disaster risk indicators in municipalities; to determine the degree and the potential of a disaster occurring or developing in a municipality; and to determine measures for reducing a disaster risk, and if it occurs, for addressing the results of a disaster in a municipality.
