Abstract

This Resolution aims at the protection of plants against pest and diseases. It is composed of 2 articles. Article 1 bans the introduction, importation and exportation of plants and their parts and products in Syria, only after examination and inspection by experts of plant protection and plant quarantine in particular the following plants and plant products: bulbs, roots and tubers; vegetables; fruits; coffee, thee tea and spices; cereals; seeds; tobacco; fertilizers; wood and wood charcoal; cork and products; cotton; plant textile fiber; glues and gum; sugar and derivates; non-organic chemical products; and, natural silk.
