This resolution enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 4 articles, 5 Lists and 2 Annexes. Article 1 defines requiremnts and criteria necessary for drinking water and domestic use. Article 2 entrusts the Central Department of Laboratories at the Ministry of Health and Population to carry out analysis and tests related to the aforementioned waters. Article 3 deals with the implementation, inspection and monitoring on the aforementioned criteria and requirements. List I contains natural characteristics of drinking water and domestic use. List II contains inorganic materials with effects on domestic uses and Unpalatability. List III contains chemical materials with effects on the public health. Lists IV and V contain microbiological criteria and radioactive materials. Annex I deals with periodic tests and examinations of waters. Annex II provides for monitoring, control, inspection and reports.
