Abstract

This Resolution approves the technological scheme and sanitary-quarantine control procedures within Georgia’s border lines and customs areas. Under its Annex 1, the Resolution consists of five chapters: General provisions (I); Competent agencies and their duties (II); Medical sanitary-quarantine measures and special requirements (III); Medical-sanitary documents (IV); and Transitional and final provisions (V). Under Annex No. 2, the Resolution consists of X chapters: General provisions (I); Ship sanitation control exemption certificate/ship sanitation control certificate (II); Entry points of aircrafts (III); Entry points for cargo trucks, cargo and passenger trains and buses (IV); Rules for relations between the tax authority and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (V); Special measures than need to be undertaken when Georgian citizens depart to countries in quarantine and infected with other dangerous diseases (VI); and Transitional provisions (VII).
