It consists of eight articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Requirements for preparing the plans (3); Stages for preparing the plans (4); Content of the plans (5); Informational maps (6); External disaster management plans (7); and Informing the public (8). The Resolution also adopts Structure of disaster management plan (Annex 1) and Detailed plans for measures to be taken broken down in disaster phases and different scenarios (Annex 2). The plans are to be prepared by subjects of the unified disaster management system of Georgia which need to be approved by the Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The regulation does not apply to nuclear and radiation disasters.
